Bohemian DIY Wedding at Doubling Gap Center | Newville, PA

Amanda and Josh’s bohemian celebration at Doubling Gap Center in Newville, Pennsylvania was truly unique and unforgettable. The couple put a lot of thought and creativity into their wedding, which had a bohemian theme with vintage touches, DIY decor, and plenty of outdoor activities. One of the most memorable details was the vintage rugs that adorned the ceremony aisle. These rugs added a pop of personality to the natural surroundings and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The couple exchanged vows in front of cairn ceremony backdrop, which symbolizes the creation of a family. This added a beautiful, personal touch to the wedding ceremony. 

The DIY decor was another highlight of the wedding. Amanda and Josh put in a lot of effort to create a personalized and unique atmosphere. The reception area featured handmade candles, dehydrated oranges, and other bohemian decor. These details added a touch of whimsy and charm to the celebration, and it was evident that Amanda & Josh had put a lot of thought into every detail.

The lakeside reception was breathtaking, with stunning views of the lake and forest. The couple had a massive charcuterie board, which was a hit with guests, and the vintage furniture created a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The reception area was beautifully lit with string lights and candles, creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere and the forest surrounding the lake provided a beautiful backdrop. As the sun set, the forest took on a magical quality, with the string lights illuminating the trees and creating a dreamy atmosphere.

As the night went on, guests gathered around the campfire to enjoy each other’s company. They also played games like corn hole and watched as the kids played in a nearby jungle gym. The laid-back atmosphere was perfect for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
