Pastel Paradise: A Light & Airy Love Story at Swan Harbor Farm | Havre de Grace, Maryland
I’m so excited to share with you one of the most enchanting engagement sessions I’ve had the pleasure to capture. Kelsey and Sean are so full of love and joy that it was impossible not to feel uplifted in their presence.
We decided on Swan Harbor Farm for their engagement session, which is in the picturesque town of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Swan Harbor is a hidden gem full of history! It boasts a stunning 531-acre property located on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, and it’s one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Maryland. The farm is a perfect blend of history and nature, featuring a restored 19th-century farmhouse, miles of walking trails, and breathtaking views of the bay. My favorite part of the property are the towering weeping willow trees that frame its landscape, providing the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot.
We decided to go for a light and airy aesthetic, with a pastel color palette that matched the Spring season. I wanted the photos to feel candid and authentic, capturing the couple’s love story in a photojournalistic and documentary style. But above all, the photos needed to be emotional and romantic, conveying the timeless and everlasting love that Kelsey and Sean share.
As we strolled through the farm’s meadows and gardens, I was struck by how easy it was to capture the couple’s natural chemistry. Their love was so evident that it made my job effortless. We laughed, danced, and talked about their plans for the future, all while I snapped away. The resulting photos are a testament to the beautiful connection that Kelsey and Sean have.
